Got My New Lens Today

Got my new lens in the mail today, it came early!  I've been wanting to get a new lens for a long time and earlier this week my husband said we could swing it.  So we went on amazon and ordered the 50mm f/1.8, and so far I like it.  It seems really good for portraits.


And that high aperture does a great job of blurring out my messy apartment in the background.





I then went outside to play with my new lens some more, I think I was getting a little rusty.

Some Thanksgiving Photos

Time is really flying by lately, I'm halfway through with my pregnancy and baby is really kicking, it's very cute.  But he/she is very shy, whenever I or anyone else tries to feel, the kicking just stops.  I don't think baby likes to be touched, oh well, peanut's going to just have to get used to that.

Took some photos of my girl during Thanksgiving, her hair is really getting long.





I also just purchased a new lens from amazon, can't wait to play with it, should be here next week.

Here are the shots of the belly that my husband took last weekend (I showed one of them yesterday). I did the settings but I think he did a pretty good job, I love how these turned out. Wish I would have done something like this when I was pregnant with Lucy.
