I Heart Faces: From a Distance

DSC_0314re

This is one of faves of my Lucy, it was taken on a random warm windy day this past April.  I like the feel of this photo, it's a little moody, gives off feelings of mystery and being all alone.  Makes me wonder what my little girl was thinking.

I usually don't take pictures of people off in the distance, I like an up close and personal shot, but I need to sometimes step back and take in everything, not just my little Lucy's face (even though it is one of the cutest faces I've ever seen, but I'm a little biased I suppose).  Check out more from a distance pics at I Heart Faces.

  5. No red hood, or else it may turn out to be like the scary remake that was released this year ^_^

Lovely photo, makes you want to go hug and keep her safe.

  10. This does have a moody feel with the bare April trees. Love the splash of color with the dress!

  11. I absolutely love this picture. You did a great job with this distance picture. And the way the wind is blowing her hair and how her face is pointed a little downwards. It allows you to try to imagine what her facial expression was and what she was doing. Gotta love mysteries.

    :)
