I've been taking sort of a bloggy break. I've just been real tired and trying to clean and clear my head a bit. Last week we went to visit my family and this week I've been babysitting, snipping beans, and took Lucy to the movie theaters to see her first movie, I think she liked it? I've still been taking photos even if I haven't been blogging, get ready for two weeks' worth.
I like going for walks with my girl and taking my camera with me. I don't force it, but if I find anything that interests me, I snap a photo of it.
I listen to my girl ramble on about bugs, sticks, leaves, flowers, whatever she's thinking about at that moment. I like seeing the world through her eyes, gives me a different perspective on things.
If I don't take even one picture that's okay, I still spent some time with my little girl while she explores her world. I have to trust my memory, can't let the camera do the work all the time.
Our neighbor downstairs has a very cute cat, and this weekend we actually found her playing in the stairwell of the building. This was a great chance to practice my animal photography.
Usually as soon as she sees us she runs inside, but that day she was actually letting Lucy pet her.
Too bad my neighbor is moving out at the end of the month, I think this kitty was starting to like us, well, maybe a little bit anyway.
Black and White My daughter Lucy is actually starting to listen to me when I tell her to pose. She's turning into my little model, I love it!

Bare I once said to Lucy that she had a cute tushie while I was getting her dressed, but I was mostly talking to myself. She then spent the next minute saying "I have cute tushie." I guess I need to really start watching what I say :)
