I've been becoming a tad more familiar with Gimp, I've had it installed on my computer for awhile but it's kind of confusing to use, so baby steps I guess. Opened up the photo in Gimp, adjusted curves and contrast. Then opened in picnik and cropped, added a purplish tint 50%, boosted the colors in the water, and softened the top cloud and rain, then reduced the noise.

I love how dark you got the top and bottom and how light the middle is. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love that in your crop you left the falling rain. Several of the crops have removed the rain which I think takes away from the overall emotion of the photo.
