I've been in a funk these past few days. Tired...and my hair needs some serious attention, I haven't gotten it cut since about a year ago (I know, bad, probably why I have so many split ends). And it's been cold, like end of March kind of cold, sometimes Wisconsin can be so depressing.
I've been seeing the world in black and white.
Except for this picture, I like the warm pinkish tones.
Trying to have some fun with my little Lucy, she still loves that umbrella.
Yeah, this is pretty much how I feel. Hope this funk leaves me soon, it's really bringing me down.
I hope you get some warm sunshine soon to brighten your spirits. In the mean time, check out my Favorite Photo of the Week Contest over at http://throughaphotographerseyes.blogspot.com/2011/05/favorite-photo-of-week-contest.html

I am sorry your weather is whacky! It has been 90 every day this week in Pennsylvania. That is a little too hot for me!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteWe are having the same weather here. More like March than almost June. Beautiful snapshots. Have a great day!

I love the last shot and I feel like I'm in a funk too - I haven' treally wanted to do anything other than lay around. I need to get out of that!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you're still getting cold weather. We're in the 80's now..pushing 90. Hopefully you get some nice weather to get you out of that funk!
ReplyDeleteWow...so cold. Hope you get to feeling better.
ReplyDeleteLove the shots of you and your precious girl!
simply WONDERFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific weekend!
lovely black and whites!
ReplyDeleteLove your last shot. Sometimes all it takes is a little treat - like a new haircut or a pedicure or whatever it is makes you feel good. Hope your funk goes soon and you get to do something fun this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI completely co-miserate with you. I haven't had my hair cut in waaaaaaaay too long. I hate it when I don't feel good about my hair, because it trickles into the rest of myself (if that makes sense). Beautiful shots btw, I love the pink one as well! Hope you get out of your funk ;0). I'm sure some warm weather is due to come your way soon. *crosses fingers*

Maybe it's a change of season thing- because I seem to be coming across the same sentiment from many lately. I do love your b&w photos with your daughter. That was a sweet perk in my day.
ReplyDeleteIt is rainy here too! Yesterday it was perfectly sunny and today rainy and over cast! Love the picture with the pinkish hue.
ReplyDeleteHope the weekend finds you rejuvenated!
I hear...sometimes the "funk" stays too long. :( Hope you feel better soon! :)
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful! Thanks for sharing!

I Live in MN so I know exactly what you mean about the Crappy weather lately! Cold and depressing!
ReplyDeleteBoy, Do I know that feeling. The funks a re the worst. Have been in one for several weeks...maybe it is just in the air these days. Love all the shots...the funk ones and the not-funk ones. Special moments captured on the old camera mean so much. Love the macro. You did a fine job with it.
