Me and Lucy went for a walk this morning and I actually brought my camera along, had to dust it off a bit, but it still works, crazy. Being tired and sick does not equal taking photos, so it's been sitting pretty for about a month or so waiting for me to feel better. Or not quite so nauseas, I can't imagine that I'll be back to normal for quite some time.
It was a beautiful fall morning, cool and breezy. Before it might have been too cold for me. But now being pregnant, I actually enjoy cooler breezy days, the fresh air makes the nausea go down a bit.
Here are just a few shots, autumn has definitely arrived here in Wisconsin. In a couple of weeks it'll be winter already (just kidding....I think).
And here's my Lucy throwing leaves in the air, she was definitely having fun.
My ultrasound went great, the little peanut has a good strong heartbeat and was a very active little thing, which was great to see. They didn't tell me what my due date was so I assume it's still April 12, guess I'll find out at my next appointment, which won't be till November. Man it's hard to get appointments in, they said they had to have an hour block of time because it will be the pelvic exam and all that stuff. I'll be 17 weeks by then, my baby is probably gonna pop out before I can schedule another appointment, it's just crazy. Oh well, I seem to be doing okay, just nauseas still, so right on track.
I'm 12 weeks pregnant, which means that I'm almost in the second trimester, yay! And yes, I am already wearing maternity tops, don't judge. The bottoms still fit okay but the tops are just getting too tight, looks like I have a beer gut. I'm gonna try and get a pic of the belly soon. Okay, enough ranting. have a great weekend.
Still alive over here, even though sometimes I don't feel like it. Eleven weeks preggo and counting. This morning sickness (or rather afternoon/evening sickness) is really kicking my butt. I think it's going down some though.
I recently caught a cold, totally sucks, but the good news is the stuffed-up nose and congestion prevents me from smelling all those nasty smells somewhat so my nausea isn't quite so bad right now. I don't think I could handle really bad cold and nausea at the same time.
Had my first doctor's appointment last week (finally) and they were able to pick up the baby's heartbeat, so that made me feel happy. Lucy had a puzzled look on her face when she heard it and asked if "baby coming out?" That was pretty funny, it's really cool seeing how Lucy is reacting to my pregnancy.
I have a dating ultrasound scheduled for this week, so that will be nice to see the baby. Lucy keeps saying there are two babies in my tummy (don't know where she got that from), so I guess we'll see. And she says that I'm having a boy too, but we're aren't going to find that out till D-Day, because I want that big moment of "It's a Boy!" or "It's a Girl!" I also figured that I told my husband that we're pregnant so I want him to be able to tell me the sex of our baby.
Until next time.
As many of you have already guessed, yes, I am pregnant! We are very excited, I am about 9 weeks along now, and my first doctor's appointment will be in a couple weeks. Lucy is also pretty happy that she is going to be a big sister.
test taken at 4 weeks, which is why line is not very strong
Right now I am dealing with morning sickness, which is why I haven't and probably will not be blogging much. I have not so bad moments (like now) and really bad moments. Just trying to rest, force myself to eat (food...yuck) and keep myself from vomiting the food I just ate. Hopefully I'll start feeling better sometime in October.
The apartment is a mess, smells are the worst, and I feel bad because I don't have the stomach or energy to cook or really take care of my daughter. I also have the first trimester worries, but since I feel sick, I guess that's a good sign. I'll feel better once I can hear the heartbeat. My stomach is bloated and my uterus is popping out a bit, which feels kinda weird. I'll try to show a pic of my bump in a few weeks, when hopefully there will be more baby than bloating.
Hope everyone is well, have a great weekend.
