Wahoo!  I was one of Tara and Jamie's favorite pics at Trendy Treehouse for Shutter Love Tuesdays with this photo.  Thanks!

Mr. Bear

This is my daughter's bear.  She just loves him, and she would take him everywhere with her if I let her.  Grandma gave her this pink bear as a baby gift and it is the one stuffed animal that she is truly attached to.  At Paper Heart Camera this week the photo challenge is about getting up close and personal.  You can tell that this pink bear is really loved, sometimes I think she loves this thing more than me. However, I wouldn't get too close, looks a little dirty.  I do wash him, I promise, he doesn't always look like this.  Just last week I was telling my daughter how dirty he was and how he "needed a bath".  When I wasn't looking, she picked him up and put him in the tub of bathwater that I forgot to drain.  Whoops, guess she figured she'd take matters in her own hands.

A Sorta Fairytale Photo Challenge:  Snoozing
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago at my sister-in-law's baby shower.  It's a pic of my daughter's second cousin taking a little snooze in his Grandma's arms.  So precious!

Hint of Color

Paper Mama Photo Challenge:  A hint of color

I thought a hint of pink might be nice, it's one of my girl's favorite colors, takes after her mama!

coffee, coffee, coffee!

Wanted a header for my blog (I'll probably end up changing it again soon anyways, but I needed something with coffee in it, that is part of the name of my blog, isn't it?) so this morning I grabbed a mug and took a couple test shots till I found one I sorta liked.
SOOC version
This one was okay, but I wanted to do a crop and a little editing.  I don't have photoshop, just a small editing program in Windows which doesn't do anything real special but gets the job done.  For now.

I really like the way it turned out, looks real professional (well, at least I think so).  Until next time.

Flashback Friday: Washcloths

This is the first time that I'm participating in flashback Friday, I think it's a real cool idea.  It's always fun to look back at old pics.  This week I'm posting an oldie of my older sister and I chillin' with washclothes on our heads?  I think it was her idea, don't remember this whatsoever, but it is one of my favorites.

Frustrations

I am just so frustrated with my daughter right now.  She just doesn't seem to listen to me.  I discipline her every time, when will she get the message that she is not in charge, I am.  I hope this phase passes soon, mommy and daughter in tears every night is not good.  I'll post a picture of her being sweet and not a little devil child, I only want to remember the good stuff.  I mean, does she ever want a little brother or sister or what?

Cakes and Curls

Shutter Love Tuesday:  The cake that was served at my sister-in-law's baby shower a couple of weeks ago.  Love the frosting baby booties.

Show and Tell at Paper Heart Camera:   Beauty in the everyday,  which for me would be my little girl's curls.  I know that when she gets her first haircut (which hopefully won't be for about 20 years) those curls will be chopped off, never to grow back again.  Not sure, but I have a good feeling.  I love the fact that her hair will get pretty ringlets all by itself.  I'll even scrunch her hair after her baths to make her curls spring up.  I will miss those curls.

Smirk

Photo challenge this week for I Heart Faces is "Smirk".  My daughter is either smirking or just looking like trouble, not sure yet.

My little girl

Just wanted to share some pictures of my girl!

Playing with her cars.

My girl loved pointing out Jesus and the Blessed Mother.  My mom bought me that bracelet and I loved it...until my lovely daughter broke it (sorry mom).
Can you say no to that face?

Smile!
Isn't she just lovely (note sarcasm).  This would have been an amazing picture but she would not remove her finger from her face.  Oh well, have a good week!
