Happy Friday

I am so excited, I finally found the perfect opportunity to take a photo of the moon!  I'm a little obsessed, in case the exclamation point didn't give it away.

Now, I don't own a tripod or a wireless remote, but I read somewhere (not sure where) that you need a faster shutter speed to take a pic of the moon, so I thought if you used a faster shutter speed, then you wouldn't need a tripod?  Oh well, I'm not the professional.

ISO:  200
Shutter:  1/800s
Aperture:  7.1
Focal length:  200mm

  1. LOVE your moon shot! And I had no idea those were the settings to use (thanks for posting them). I always assumed you had to slow the shutter speed down and use a tripod. Very good to know! :)

  2. Awesome moon shot. I totally need to try that. :)

  5. Great shots! Love the moon & branch shots! So cool! x

  6. That is a great shot of the moon. I think you have inspired many of us to try your shutter speed etc. Your other photos are beautiful too.

  7. The moon was particularly beautiful the last few days! Great shot.

  8. The moon is beautiful! I meant to take pics of it myself and it was so cloudy here you couldn't get a good view. Great shots!

  9. I have never heard of Culvers. The moon shot is lovely.

  10. I love all of these! I really love the moon shot and I have never heard of Culvers but it sounds good.
